Upon Rishi Kapoor's cancer diagnosis, it was Neetu Singh who emerged as a pillar of support, swiftly arranging for his treatment in New York to ensure he received the best care possible. However, the road to recovery was full of challenges, as Neetu candidly revealed in an interview with Times Now. She recounted the initial shock and devastation that enveloped their family upon learning of Rishi's grave condition, with the veteran actor himself was denial for several months. Despite the tough and emotional journey, Neetu emphasized the strength that emerged from acknowledging and confronting the harsh reality of their circumstances. She recalled, "My first reaction was, obviously very bad, I was devastated, my kids were devastated. We didn’t know what to do. But then we thought to ourselves that this is it, we have to deal with it. Where he (Rishi) is concerned, he was in denial. For 4-5 months, he was not himself. I think when you start accepting that this is your issue, then you are stronger. I feel he is much stronger for the past, maybe 5-6 months.”
Being there by the side of the veteran actor during his cancer treatment, Neetu Singh recalls offering her support and companionship wholeheartedly during his moments of physical anguish. In another revelation, the actress also shared a heartwarming encounter that underscored the impact of her social media updates on Rishi's health journey.
